With the approval of the Minister for Transportation, Mr. Than Duc Nam – General Director of CIENCO 5 accompanied the Vietnam’s President Nguyen Minh Triet on his visits to Australia and New Zealand to attend the 15th Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation Forum in Sydney (Australia) from 6-9 September 2007. In this Forum, Mr. Than Duc Nam signed an agreement with the Coutry State Group on investment and construction of trade centers, office buildings in HoChiMinh City, Long An province industrial zones and residential zones in Ha Tay province with total value of 200 million USD under the witness of the President Nguyen Minh Triet and Deputy Prime Minister cum Minister for Foreign Affairs Pham Gia Khiem. On 9 September 2007, the delegation left Australia to pay an official visit of the Vietnam government to New Zealand.
2. Chairman of Management Board of Civil Engineering Corporation 5 (CIENCO 5) accompanied the delegation of the Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung to visit Russia, Czech Republic and Poland
With the approval of the Minister for Transportation, from 9-15 September 2007, the Chairman of CIENCO 5 Duong Viet Roan accompanied the delegation of the Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung to visit Russia, Czech Republic and Poland. The Chairman had chances to get experiences on the socio-economic achievements in these countries and to look for co-operation partners in activities and business of CIENCO 5.
